The May 31 Northside Neighbors Music Festival is almost here!
As you’ll see from the map, the inaugural festival is happening from 2-5 PM on Sunday, May 31, on porches and yards throughout the neighborhood, featuring some of our most talented local musicians — many of them Northside residents themselves. The afternoon will culminate in an after-party for all in the Northside/Outside are of North Linn Street.
This is a volunteer-led project and volunteers are still needed to make sure the day is a success! Please check out the volunteer form at the tab below and sign up to pitch in, whether offering to take photos, provide directions, answer questions, restock water, collect signs, or other tasks. (You don’t need to be available for the entire festival duration.) A festival organizer will be in touch as the date nears to discuss your assignment(s).
For now, mark your calendars, bring your friends, and get ready to enjoy the first Northside Neighbors Music Festival!
Local folk and blues troubadour Dave Moore (pictured at left) is among the many top-notch musicians to be featured at the Festival. Be a part of it all by signing up below!

The NNA is an all-volunteer organization. We don’t collect dues, but we welcome contributions to help support our work, website, newsletter, and other initiatives. Venmo works great: Find us at @Northside-IowaCity or search for Northside Neighborhood. Thank you!
