The Northside Neighborhood Association’s Tree Interest Group invites Northside neighbors to join them on Saturday morning, April 27, to help plant more than 75 trees and shrubs at Oakland Cemetery. The group will gather at 8:45 AM at the Oakland administration building (near the Brown Street entrance), begin their work at 9, and expect to be done by lunchtime. Shovels and gloves will be provided. Parking is limited at the cemetery and should be reserved for persons with limited mobility. Happy Hollow Park is one block away and has parking available.
